Earlier this year we held the first ever Mini Meet North at Mosport International Raceway to commemorate the minis’ 50th Anniversary. It was such a huge success that we that we decided to make this an annual event. VARAC normally honours a featured car every year, this coming year we are celebrating 50 years of racing at Mosport. A full weekend of vintage auto racing and car shows, it’s sure to be a great turn out with lots of media coverage.

Mini Meet North will be the featured event in this festival. Our goal is to have the largest Mini event ever in Canada. It will be a great opportunity for car enthusiasts and their families to share and enjoy their passion for such a great car. We’ve introduced a Mini only section (including trophies/prizes) in the show and shine car show. All the entrants of the car show will be allowed to do a couple parade laps on the Historic Mosport road race track all the Minis will stay on the front straight for a panoramic photo. A road rally has been planned, as well as a dyno to be set up for those who wish to test their cars and find out how much power they really have under their hoods. Plus a bunch of other events that are in works including prizes!

We are accepting donations and / or prizes and have sponsorship opportunities available to make this event as spectacular as the little car that we drive. We could also add you company logo to our 76 mini cooper S – Official Mini Meet North mini which will be driven to many automotive events to further promote our event.
